Research in the Reissner lab is focused on the effects of cocaine self-administration on physiological and morphological properties of astrocytes and neuron-astrocyte communication. We are particularly interested in understanding how these drug-induced adaptations contribute to long-lasting drug seeking following protracted withdrawal. Please see the research tab for more details.
